Updated June 19th, 2020

Spokane Indians Youth Baseball & Softball is hopeful to offer a summer season. Currently, you may register to the waitlist for summer baseball or softball. Thank you for your patience.

FAQs:

When will the season start?

At this point, we are planning on starting the summer season the week of July 6th. The summer season could get pushed back to July 13th.

Will the summer season be shortened?

The typical summer season is 10 league games. If starting on July 6th, the season will be 10 games. If starting on July 13th, the season will be reduced to 8 games.

Is it possible for the summer season to get canceled?

Yes. If Spokane County is not in Phase 3 when we plan to start the summer season, it will get canceled.

What are my options if the summer season is canceled?

For participants on the waitlist for summer, you will be removed from the waitlist if our summer season is canceled. No payment was taken so we do not have to issue refunds.

If you are paid for summer (originally registered for spring but we moved you to summer), there are a couple options:

OR

SIYB can move your registration (10u and older) over to the fall season as space allows or we can move your registration (all divisions) to spring or summer in 2021.

OR

SIYB will issue refunds to those who do not wish to move their registration to fall or 2021

Could any of this information change?

Yes. As we continue to monitor COVID-19 and the recommendations from our Federal and Local Government Agencies, season information can change.

When is the next baseball season?

We offer Fall Baseball for 9u Divisions and up as well as Fall Slowpitch Softball for 10u and 12u Divisions. Registration for Fall is now open.
