Schedule of Events

 

Monday, July 25th – Team Check-In

All Managers, Coaches and Players must be present.

Scheduled check-in time for all teams is 6:00 pm at Avista Stadium (602 N. Havana)

7:00 PM:  Mandatory Meeting for all managers and coaches.

Avista Stadium right after check in.

Each team must have a representative (Manager or Coach) present at this meeting, which will address interpretation and discussion of rules with tournament officials and the umpire-in-chief. Tournament officials will also use this time to check in your Official Document Book in order to ensure that all of the required information is included.

The Required Documents according to Rule 11.04 are as follows:

  • Birth documents for each player as specified by Rule 0.04, paragraph 1
  • Copy of league accident and liability insurance policy
  • Tournament team roster certified and signed by league president
  • Letter of League Eligibility Tournament Form signed by State Commissioner
  • Team Picture (5×7 or 8×10)
  • Consent for Treatment form for each player
  • Coaching Certification I.D. Card or Certificate

Note that the official Babe Ruth shoulder or cap emblem must be worn either on the left shoulder sleeve or on the official Babe Ruth cap of each player, manager and coach.  (For sleeveless jerseys, the emblem must be worn on the front left chest.)

Tuesday, July 26th – Opening Festivities

Spokane Indians (Rangers) vs. Tri Cities (Padres)

Avista Stadium (602 N. Havana)

5:30 PM:  Gates Open and dinner is served

(Please have players wear their jerseys)

5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Team Dinner (hot dog, potato salad, drinks and ice cream) and Social for all players, coaches and parents prior to the game.

Dinner and entry to the game is free for all coaches and players with a ticket.  Tickets will be given to players and coaches on Monday during check in.  Parent and fan game and meal tickets will also be available at that time.
