Fall Recreational Sign Up (Ages 7-15)

Fall Recreational 9u-15u Baseball Games Only League is a perfect for those players that have been playing and want more games. 

The SIYB recreation league will help kids be active and gain social experiences from a team atmosphere while gaining experience to possibly become a competitive team player.

*9u division is player pitch, age eligibility is based off of 2025 age chart. See bottom of page for 9u 2025 age chart*

Registration Closed

SEASON DATES: SEPT 28th – Oct 20th (revised dates)

• 10u-15u season starts Saturday Sept 28th (8 games) double header
• 9u season starts Sunday Sept 29th (4 games)
• 9u teams will be given 1 practice a week beginning the week of September 16th – this is in order to give players who are coming up from coach pitch a chance to learn kid pitch skills
• 10u – 15u Season ends Saturday, October 19th 
•  9u Season ends on Sunday October 20th
• Season may extend due to field availability and weather conditions

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 

• Register on or before August 22nd for priority placement. Coach request and player requests may not be available after the deadline. **Registration after August 22nd will be a waitlist registration

DIVISION & FEES

**Age chart located at the bottom of the page

•  9u  (ages 7,8,9 as of 4/30/2022)  $85 per player
• 10u  (ages 8, 9, 10)  $125 per player 
• 12u (ages 10, 11, 12)  $130 per player 
• 15u  (ages 13, 14, 15) $140 per player 

**a non-refundable 3% banking fee and a $1 service fee will be added at the time of check out**

GAME INFORMATION:

•  9u Rec game days Sundays, single game, 4 games total, starting game times 9:00 am 
• 10u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 8 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• 12u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 8 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• 15u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 8 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• Games will be played at Dwight Merkel, Plantes Ferry and Franklin, unless additional fields are needed

Players are assigned to teams based on the high school area chosen in registration. If there is no team directly in the player’s area then we will assign to a team that is nearby.

PRACTICES:

• practice fields will not be assigned for the Games Only League, except for 9u teams 
• 9u teams will be scheduled 1 practice a week and the volunteer coach will be able to pick the day, time, and location 

SIYB UNIFORM INCLUDES:

• Hat and jersey (no pants)

PLAYER PROVIDES:

• Athletic shoes/cleats (9u/10u no metal cleats),pants, glove and bat

SIYB PROVIDES TEAM:

• Gear Bag (will be turned in at the end of the season)
• Box of baseballs for each team
• Score Book
• Line Up Cards

COACHES MEETING:

• There will be no coach meeting
• Gear bag, uniforms & Supply Pick Up at SIYB Storage: September 9th – 10th, 3:00pm – 6:00pm

VOLUNTEER COACH:

• A Volunteer Head Coach is needed before a team starts – All SIYB coaches are volunteers. For more information, contact info@siyb.org
• Volunteer Rec Head Coaches receive 50% off one player’s registration per team coached. The 50% refund will be issued after the season starts.
• Volunteer Coaches will need to have a current background check and Abuse Prevention Certificate on file with SIYB
• Coaches contact registered players after receiving their roster from the coaches meeting, please be patient for this contact.

It’s never too early! SIYB is committed to providing the best recreational baseball
and learning experience for our baseball players and we are
actively recruiting umpires for the upcoming seasons in 2023. If you
