Fall Recreational Sign Up (Ages 7-15)

Fall Recreational 9u-15u Baseball Games Only League is a perfect for those players that have been playing and want more games. 

The SIYB recreation league will help kids be active and gain social experiences from a team atmosphere while gaining experience to possibly become a competitive team player.

*9u division is player pitch, age eligibility is based off of 2024 age chart. See bottom of page for 9u 2024 age chart*

Registration Closed

SEASON DATES: SEPT 14th – Oct 13th

• 10u-15u season starts Saturday Sept 14th (10 games)
•  9u season starts Sept 15th (5 games)
• 10u – 15u Season ends Saturday, October 12th 
•  9u Season ends on Sunday October 13th
• Season may extend due to field availability and weather conditions

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 

• Register on or before August 8th for priority placement. Coach request and player requests may not be available after the deadline. **Registration after August 8th will be a waitlist registration

DIVISION & FEES

**Age chart located at the bottom of the page

•   9u  (ages 7,8,9 as of 4/30/2022)  $85 per player
• 10u  (ages 8, 9, 10)  $145 per player 
• 12u (ages 10, 11, 12)  $155 per player 
• 15u  (ages 13, 14, 15) $165 per player 

GAME INFORMATION:

•   9u Rec game days Sundays, single game, 5 games total, starting game times 9:00 am 
• 10u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 10 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• 12u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 10 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• 15u Rec game days Saturdays, double header, 10 games total, starting game times 8:00 am
• Games will be played at Dwight Merkel, Plantes Ferry and Franklin, unless additional fields are needed

Players are assigned to teams based on the high school area chosen in registration. If there is no team directly in the player’s area then we will assign to a team that is nearby.

PRACTICES:

• practice fields will not be assigned for the Games Only League

SIYB UNIFORM INCLUDES:

• Hat and jersey (no pants)

PLAYER PROVIDES:

• Athletic shoes/cleats (10u no metal cleats),pants, glove and bat

SIYB PROVIDES TEAM:

• Gear Bag (will be turned in at the end of the season)
• Box of baseballs for each team
• Score Book
• Line Up Cards

COACHES MEETING:

• There will be no coach meeting
• Gear bag, uniforms & Supply Pick Up at SIYB Storage: August 28th – 29th, 3:00pm – 6:00pm

VOLUNTEER COACH:

• A Volunteer Head Coach is needed before a team starts – All SIYB coaches are volunteers. For more information, contact info@siyb.org
• Volunteer Rec Head Coaches receive 50% off their player’s registration. The 50% refund will be issued after the season starts.
• Volunteer Coaches will need to have a current background check and Abuse Prevention Certificate on file with SIYB
• Coaches contact registered players after receiving their roster from the coaches meeting, please be patient for this contact.

It’s never too early! SIYB is committed to providing the best recreational baseball
and learning experience for our baseball players and we are
actively recruiting umpires for the upcoming seasons in 2023. If you
