Summer 2025 Recreational Softball (Ages 8 - 18)

Our recreational softball league is the perfect place for players of all experience levels to have fun, stay active, and develop their skills on the field! Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, this league offers a welcoming and supportive environment where you can grow as a player while enjoying the game.

Sign up individually, and we’ll match you with a team based on teammate requests, coach preferences, and your local area. With everything provided – from uniforms to helmets and catcher’s gear – you’ll be ready to play and focus on having a great time.

And don’t forget, during the summer, we also offer a High School league, giving you the chance to get your friends together for some fun or bring your team out for extra reps. It’s a great opportunity to improve your skills in a relaxed setting.

SEASON DATES: JUNE 23rd – AUGUST 14th 
  • Practices start week of June 23rd
  • Games start the week of June 30th (9 games)
  • 10U Saturday Double Header & Picture Day July 12th 
  • 12U & 15U Sunday Double Header Day & Picture Day July 13th
  • Season may extend due to make up games/ field availability
REGISTRATION DEADLINE:

Register on or before May 15th for priority placement. Coach request and player requests may not be available after the deadline. **Registration after May 15th will be a waitlist registration.

DIVISIONS & FEES:
  • 10u Rec (ages 8,9,10) – $165 per player
  • 12u Rec (ages 10,11,12) – $175 per player
  • 14u Rec (ages 12,13,14) – $175 per player 
  • High School Rec (Grades 9 -12) – $175 per player

**a non-refundable 3% banking fee and a $1 service fee will be added at the time of check out**

PRACTICE/GAME INFORMATION:
  • Volunteer coaches will schedule the practice location and time with SIYBS on their scheduled day.
  • Total of 9 scheduled games.
  • Games will start at 6:00pm on their scheduled day (except for weekend game on Picture Day).
  • Schedules are estimated to be released by June 19th.

14u & 12u

  • 14u and 12u teams will have practices on Monday and Wednesday for the first week of season 
  • Starting the week of June 30th, practices will be on Mondays and games will be on Wednesdays
  • 14u and 12u teams will have a Saturday Double Header & Picture Day on July 12th

10u & High School

  • 10u & High School will have practices on Tuesday and Thursday for the first week of season 
  • Starting the week of June 30th, practices will be on Tuesdays and games will be on Thursdays
  • 10u & High School will have a Sunday Double Header & Picture Day on July 12th

We assign players based off of high school area chosen in registration. If there is no team directly in the player’s area then we will assign to a team that is nearby.

SIYBS UNIFORM INCLUDES:
  • Team Jersey

PLAYER PROVIDES:
  • Athletic shoes/cleats (10u no metal cleats)
  • Glove
  • Bat
DICK’S SPORTING GOODS WEEKEND: June 13 – June 16

COACH INFORMATION:
  • Coaches Meeting – June 19th at 6:00pm – Zoom link go be sent out prior 
  • Equipment Pickup – June 11th – 12th from 3:00pm – 6:00pm at SIYBS Storage
  • Equipment Return – August 19th from 2:30pm – 6:30pm at SIYBS Storage

VOLUNTEER COACH:
  • Volunteer Head Coach is needed before a team can be built
  • All SIYB coaches are volunteers. For more information on how to become a volunteer coach, contact info@siyb.org
  • Volunteer Rec Head Coaches receive 50% off one player’s registration per team coached. The 50% refund will be issued after the season starts.
  • Volunteer Coaches will need to have a current background check and Abuse Prevention Certificate on file with SIYBS.
  • Coaches will contact registered players after rosters have been posted.
