Fall Competitive Softball 10u-12u

The competitive softball league is geared towards experienced, skilled players and teams.  The season is longer, games are played on the more favorable fields, and the season ends with a two game guarantee city championship tournament.  Each team provides their own uniforms, and equipment such as helmets, catchers gear, etc.  SIYS will supply softballs for games, lineup cards, a scorebook, and sportsmanship pins to recognize players after each game. Coaches will register an entire team vs individual sign up.

Competitive teams who may be short players do have the ability to find players or if you are looking to join a competitive team you can do so through our “SIYB Free Agency” group listed on Facebook. Here parents and coaches can connect.

If you love the sport of softball, have experience and skills pushing you to the next level to be challenged, then competitive softball is the game for you.

Registration OPEN

SEASON DATES: SEPT 15th – OCT 13th

• Regular Season starts the weekend of September 15th
• Season ends the weekend of  October 13th
• 8 Games will be Scheduled.
• City Championships 2 Games on October 13th will be scheduled at a later date based on standings.
• Season may extend due to field availability and weather conditions

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: August 22nd

• Register on or before August 22nd, registration after August 8th will be a waitlist registration

• Click on Volunteer
• Click on Find Volunteer Roles
• View Divisions for the program
• Choose Division and complete registration
• From confirmation email, invite players

DIVISIONS & FEES

• 10u Sunday Competitive  $1,530 – game days are Sunday, double header
• 12u Sunday Competitive  $1,530 – game days are Sunday, double header

PRACTICES:

• practice fields will not be assigned for the Games Only League

UNIFORMS:

• Teams will provide their own uniforms

SIYS PROVIDES:

• Box of softballs for each team
• Score Book
• Line Up Cards

TEAMS PROVIDE:

• team uniforms
• equipment such as catcher’s gear, helmets, bats, etc.

COACHES MEETING:

• When –  TBD, time TBD
• Where – Zoom
• Who – all 10u and 12u Coaches
• Competitive Coaches will need a current background check and abuse prevention training certificate on file with SIYB
